Eligibility & Requirements
Group leaders must be affiliated with one of the program’s profile-defining research areas. Proposed projects should align with the scientific focus of EKF MSG and contribute to its interdisciplinary mission.
When applying, please specify:
✅ PhD funding required
✅ Partial PhD funding is required
✅ No financial support needed

Important Information
✅ You can affiliate your group at any time throughout the year and enroll your PhD Fellows in the EKF MSG.
📅 The deadline for project submissions for the EKF MSG Call 2025 is March 17, 2025.
Selection & Evaluation
Applications will be reviewed by the Steering Committee, which evaluates eligibility and ranks submissions. Final admission decisions are made by majority vote and matching with candidates on the selection days.
Final
Decision
The final decision will be announced in August 2025 and the selected PhD student has up to 6 months to start.
